Concrete Winds are one half of the now-defunct Finnish death metal quartet Vorum. Going only by these twenty-five minutes, Concrete Winds are the sadistic half of the erstwhile Vorum. Primitive Force, their debut album, recorded at Underworld Studios by Mersus, is easily one of the most extreme records you’ll hear this year, and yet never once does Primitive Force become monotonous. It’s nonstop, don’t mistake that part, but it’s also astonishingly creative throughout.
