Interview VST

Hey! First of all, for those who have missed your band before: What does Vst is all about?

Vst stands for spreading the liberation of religions all over the world. Through our music we deliver the free thinking and free acting.

What can you tell me about Vst latest album “The Beast Manifesto”?

This album is a collection of declarations and ideas for each one of the members, it’s our greatest collaborative work to date, we have many themes involved in each song, we talk about dark literature, inner struggles, occultism, Left Hand Path, our Satanist philosophy, some touches about World War II, which we consider a crucial period in human history, so it’s totally our manifesto, all our way of thinking painted in a musical piece.

When your fans can hear something new after “The Beast Manifesto”? I mean if there is scheduled some info about new album.

At the time we are not working on new music but we think that probably next year we will start writing some new and darker stuff.

Do you have enough of positive feedbacks about the album so far?

Yes, so far the feedback has been amazing between new and older fans.

Concreto records released your album, so how you can value your collaboration, will you continue with them?

Of course, Concreto Records is one of the biggest Mexican record labels and they are really good to work with.

What helps you to continue with the music?

The constant believe of a world without religions and dumb beliefs.

Is it enough easy to play metal and have stable line-up in your part of Mexico? Can you live from album sales?

Its not easy, México is a really big country and it is more into folk music but theres a growing metal base fans. Its really hard to live from album sales even for bigger bands but we are doing this because we love it.

Quite a few people have been involved in Vst since its inception. How did you come to find a stable, permanent line-up of members?

We have only changed the vocalist. In the last record Rumjal was our vocalist but for this album he left and our bassist came to do his job.

Which song off of “The Beast Manifesto” would you choose to play if you wanted to create a new fan of Vst?

Probably the first video single “Abyss”, we love “Ode to I” and theres a song where “Kerenor” sang all by herself called “Sathanael” wich is a straight forward song.

Which was the band that made you go, “that’s it–I’m starting a metal band!”?

Any parting words for the readers of Metal Militia?

Keep on supporting Metal everywhere you are. Support the beast! Hail Satan!
